Refund Policy – Weight Loss Injections

Effective Date: 22.7.25

This refund policy applies to all purchases of weight loss injections prescribed by our CQC-registered clinic and dispensed through UK-regulated pharmacies. Our priority is to ensure patient safety, transparency, and adherence to healthcare regulations.

1. Prescription-Only Medication

Weight loss injections (e.g., GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide or liraglutide) are prescription-only medicines (POMs). Once prescribed and dispensed, they cannot be returned or refunded under UK law, unless faulty or recalled. This ensures patient safety and compliance with MHRA regulations.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation prior to dispensing: If your prescription is cancelled before the medication has been dispensed by the pharmacy, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund, minus any consultation or administrative fees.
  • Product recall or defect: If the product is proven to be defective or recalled by the manufacturer or MHRA, you will be offered a refund or replacement as appropriate.

3. Ineligibility for Refunds

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • Medication has already been dispensed or shipped.
  • You change your mind after the prescription is processed.
  • You are dissatisfied with treatment outcomes, unless due to clinical error.
  • You fail to use the medication as prescribed, or stop treatment voluntarily.

4. Consultation Fees

Fees paid for medical consultations (online or in person) are non-refundable, even if you are deemed unsuitable for treatment after clinical assessment.

5. Delayed or Missed Deliveries

While we partner with licensed UK pharmacies and reputable couriers, we are not liable for delays once the medication is dispatched. Refunds will not be issued for courier delays unless the item is lost or undeliverable.

6. Adverse Reactions

In the event of side effects or adverse reactions:

  • Contact the clinic immediately for medical advice.
  • Refunds will not be issued for reactions unless the medication is found to be defective or wrongly dispensed.

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund (where eligible), contact us in writing within 7 days of the issue arising, providing:

  • Your full name and order details
  • Reason for refund request
  • Supporting evidence (e.g. photos, batch numbers, GP/clinic correspondence)

Please email: cathy@thecoachhouseclinic

8. Review and Updates

We reserve the right to amend this refund policy at any time to reflect changes in law or clinical practice. The most current version will always be available on our website.
